Install Guide:
TyreGuardian™ Treatment
Safe, fast, and easy to install, TyreGuardian™ typically requires only 10 minutes to install per tire.
The interior of the tire must be free from other sealants, chalk, water, etc. before application.
Do not use this product with rims that have been modified with brass or copper.
NOTE: For best results, drive the vehicle normally in safe conditions for 5-10 minutes just AFTER installing TyreGuardian™ and re-inflating the treated tires.*
1. Shake bottle. Cut 1/8” off of the tip of the TyreGuardian™ bottle nozzle.
2. MAKE SURE the tire valve is above the 9 o'clock or 3 o'clock position.
3. Elevate the wheel using jack or lift. Remove VALVE CORE using supplied removal tool to deflate tire.
4. Push one end of the included clear plastic tube over the bottle nozzle and the other over the valve stem.
5. Squeeze in recommended amount (per tire): see calculator above.
6. Clean any residue from the valve stem and re-insert valve core.
7. Re-inflate tire and drive 5-10 minutes to complete the installation.
*TIRES WHICH WILL BE USED IN HIGH-RISK AREAS (3-4 PUNCTURES A DAY) REQUIRE DOUBLE THE ABOVE AMOUNT.

Tire puncture protection systems have come and gone. Either they didn’t work, added too much weight, or were messy during installation and dismounting. TyreGuardian™, a new formula hailing from Down Under that does work and won’t leave you stranded. The product claims to prevent air loss from punctured holes up to 6mm in diameter, but after thoroughly thrashing some of our own rubber, we found it even holds up to a 7.5-mm hole. Not only that, it’s easy to install and clean to work with, leaving no mess on the wheel or floor during dismount. In fact, TyreGuardian turns from liquid to rubber right in your very hands! Weight-wise, a normal dose only adds 4 ounces to the average 17-in through 19-in tire size—hardly a compromise when you don’t really need that 50-lb spare anymore.
Having tested on both forged modular wheels and cast, there are no downsides, and it even works with TPMS sensors. In motorsport, some rally racing teams in Australia and the U.S. have reportedly already caught on to the benefits as well. For our Select Gear, this was an easy choice this year."
